Somniloquy

somniloquy (noun) : the action of talking while asleep; as in, “Hy husband’s loud somniloquy gives me an excuse for not being a morning-person.”

parasonomia (noun) : an abnormal action done while asleep; as in, “Oh, husband! It’s a good thing you’re so adorable, or else your parasonomia would drive me crazy!”

Did you know that while 50% of children talk in their sleep, most of us outgrow it by puberty? Only about 5% of adults talk in their sleep – this puts my husband in a very exclusive group. I always knew he was special.
